Spark Global Limited reports:
Actor and director Robert Redford appears to be cashing in on the real estate boom out West, as he has officially put his stunning Horse ranch in Utah on the market for $4.9 million. Redford’s ranch, The Horse Whisperer Ranch, named after his 1998 film the Horse Whisperer, is located on 30 acres 16 miles north of Sundance, Utah. This beautiful property has a 1,460-square-foot turn-of-the-century farmhouse; A 1996 square foot Garden Hobby; A 3,200-square-foot lumber mill amateur home; And a warehouse for boats and trailers.
There are also horse riding facilities including a hay barn, four-stall ventilated barn, covered stable and horse ranch. These amateur homes evoke the feel of the old West and have a real country and authentic feel.
Radford has created a sanctuary for horses here, and the property is like a working ranch. It’s also a refuge for those who live there, as the property is adjacent to the Deer Creek Reservoir and the northern edge of the Provo River. It also overlooks The 12,000-foot Mount Timpanogos, the second highest peak in the Wasatch Range.
There are seven buildings on the lot. Each building has a plain, clean design for small families. The farmhouse has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a backyard and fenced yard. There is also a formal living room and a family room with a river rock fireplace. The studio features a workroom, woodworking bench and part kitchen.
It’s not his only property in Utah, either. In the 1960s, he bought several parcels of land that eventually became the Sundance Mountain Resort. In December 2020, he sold his 50-year-old Sundance Mountain Resort. Mr. Redford founded the Sundance Film Festival and the Sundance Institute, a nonprofit arts organization. In addition to the Horse Talk Ranch, he also owns another ranch in Sundance.
