According to the data of Guangzhou Zhongyuan research and development department, in July (statistical cycle: June 26 to July 25), there were 7652 online signatures for first-hand houses in Guangzhou, an increase of 8% month on month. Due to the difficulty of housing loan approval, many new housing projects have the phenomenon of full payment and 70% down payment, and buyers give priority to selecting houses.

Affected by the regional record price system and other regulatory means, most regions are in the “running in period” of the new deal, and developers and management departments need time to adapt, resulting in a new low in the supply of first-hand houses in Guangzhou in July. In particular, Guangzhou’s new house supply “dongdachang” Zengcheng only supplied 50000 m2 (525 sets) in July, a new low since February 2020 (epidemic period).
