Vice Premier Han Zheng held a symposium at the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on June 3. Han zheng stressed that we should focus on government-subsidized rental housing, improve basic systems and support policies, and strengthen the construction of the housing security system. We will strike a balance between basic and non-basic guarantees, do our best within our means, and strive to solve the housing problems of people living in difficulties and new citizens. We should properly handle the relationship between the government and the market, not only strengthen the role of the government but also make active use of market measures.
